The Kush strain was discovered in the 1970s on the Hindu Kush mountains. This potent Indica strain grew along the mountain range bordering India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan and is regarded as the most potent landrace strain available.

Since its discovery, the Hindu Kush seeds are grown worldwide. At harvest time, Kush’s bushes are dense, short, and stocky covered with trichomes which makes them sticky when broken down. The bud itself is a deep green leaf with bits of purple, and its pistils are a rusty, orange color. Kush’s signature smell is skunky, piney, and pungent, but the inhale tastes of citrus. Its reputation as a powerful, long-lasting sedative with THC levels up to 28% makes it ideal for medicinal such as pain relief, relaxation, and aids with those suffering from insomnia.
